After earning a PR Diploma from Algonquin College, Sam began her journey at CBC Radio and
CBC Television, where she coordinated telethons and events, igniting a passion for media and
community engagement.
Throughout her career, Sam has built a robust community network in the Ottawa area,
leveraging her skills to raise funds for vital causes that save and transform lives. Her work with
the hospital, the humane society, and a homeless shelter has not only been particularly
rewarding for her but has also made a significant difference in the lives of many. Her dedication
and passion for these causes are truly exceptional.
A career highlight has been the opportunity to work with non-profits worldwide through
Gryphon Fundraising. She collaborates with organizations across Canada, the USA, and
Australia and is eager to expand partnerships to the UK.
